Quick sustainable process
Our innovation is based on a proven cutting-edge technology. With a patented catalytic, energy-efficient process, in standard processing equipment, a tonne of solid lignin is mixed one-to-one with a tonne of waste fatty acid. Within a couple of hours the process then gives two tonnes of lignin bio-crude oil.
The result
The result is a liquid biocrude-oil called Lignol®, which is then refined into bio-gasoline, bio-diesel or Sustainable Aviation Fuel (to be certified), in the same way as HVO – Hydro Treated Vegetable Oil. The resulting fuels can be made to perform like the common fossil fuels. Lignol fuels can be blended in to meet all mandates for advanced biofuels.
